The Yocan Story

So what is Yocan? It's a vaporizer company founded in 2013 in Shenzhen, China, and it's grown into one of the best-known budget vape brands in the world. It started with simple wax pens like the original Evolve, then expanded into dry herb vapes, smart concentrate devices and some of the most popular 510 batteries around, including the UNI Pro.

Yocan's approach hasn't changed much: keep it simple, keep it affordable and give people something that works right out of the box.

What Sets Yocan Apart

  • Affordable: One of the easiest ways to get into dabbing or cart vaping without spending a lot.
  • Simple to use: Most devices run on one button with a few voltage settings.
  • Wide range: Wax, dry herb and oil, all from one brand.
  • Handy features: USB-C charging, magnetic connections, quartz and ceramic coils, and adjustable voltage.
  • Replaceable coils: Swap in a fresh coil instead of buying a whole new device.

Yocan is best known for its dab pens, and the Evolve line is where it all started. The Yocan Evolve Plus XL is a classic, no-fuss wax pen with a bigger chamber than the standard Evolve Plus and replaceable coils that keep it going for a long time.

If you want something a little more advanced, the Yocan Orbit 2.0 is one of Yocan's most popular dab pens. It uses a coil-less quartz cup with spinning quartz terp pearls for even heating, and adds an OLED display, a 1,400mAh battery and USB-C charging. The original Yocan Orbit offers the same terp-pearl concept in a simpler package. Yocan also makes several other concentrate devices with their own twist, including the Yocan Iris, Yocan Phaser Max 2, Yocan Go, Yocan Sip and the compact Yocan Pocket.

For flower, Yocan has two dry herb vaporizers. The Yocan Hit 2 is a small, beginner-friendly herb vape, and the Yocan Vane 2 adds digital temperature control.

For oil cartridges, Yocan's batteries are some of the most popular around. The Yocan UNI Pro and Yocan UNI 3.0 adjust to fit a wide range of cartridge sizes. The Yocan Kodo Pro is a compact variable-voltage option, and the Yocan Flat Slim is a slim, simple pen-style battery. If you'd rather not press a button at all, the Yocan Ziva and Yocan Ziva Pro fire automatically when you inhale. The Yocan Verve rounds out the lineup.

Buy Yocan Accessories

Yocan makes a handful of accessories that make dabbing easier. The Yocan Blade is an electric hot knife for clean, easy loading, and the Yocan Slate Torch is a handy torch for traditional rigs. If you want to take the guesswork out of banger temps, the Yocan Heat Vision Thermometer Carb Cap shows the temperature right on the cap.

For flower, the Yocan iShred Electronic Grinder grinds your herb at the push of a button. UNI Pro owners can also grab the Yocan UNI Pro 510 Magnetic Adapter for quick cart swaps.

Best Price for Yocan Parts

Coils are the Yocan replacement parts you'll buy most often. When flavour fades or hits start tasting burnt, a fresh coil brings your pen back to life for a fraction of the cost of a new device.

We carry replacement coils for many Yocan devices, including the Evolve Plus Coils (5 Pack), Evolve Plus XL Coils (5 Pack) and Iris Replacement Coils. We also stock the Yocan Black Cloud 3.1 Coil and Yocan Loaded Quartz Quad Coils. Blade owners can pick up replacement Yocan Blade K1 and K2 Ceramic Tips.

FAQ

What is Yocan?

Yocan is a vaporizer brand founded in 2013 in Shenzhen, China. It makes affordable dab pens, dry herb vaporizers, 510 thread batteries, coils and dabbing accessories.

Are Yocan vaporizers good?

Yocan vaporizers are a solid, affordable way into dabbing and cart vaping. They're easy to use and great value. They don't have the premium materials or long warranties of high-end brands, so if you dab every day and want something built for years, a premium device may be worth the upgrade.

Where can I buy Yocan in Canada?

Right here. Canadian Vaporizers is an authorized Yocan dealer, so every product is genuine and covered by Yocan's warranty. We ship Canada-wide with free shipping on orders over $99.

Do you carry the Yocan Evolve?

We carry the Yocan Evolve Plus XL, along with replacement coils for both the Evolve Plus and Evolve Plus XL.

Looking for an older Yocan model?

We don't carry every Yocan model. If you're after an older dab pen like the Cylo or Evolve D, the Orbit 2.0 and Evolve Plus XL are great current picks. For older 510 batteries like the Armor, Regen, Lux or Kodo Plus, look at the UNI Pro, UNI 3.0 or Kodo Pro.

Why did my Yocan stop working?

Usually it's a dead battery, a loose or dirty connection between the coil and battery, a worn-out coil or a device that's been accidentally locked. Charge it fully, clean the contact points and make sure the coil is seated properly. If it still won't fire, try a fresh coil.

What do three blinks on a Yocan mean?

Three blinks usually means a short circuit or a connection problem between the battery and the coil or cartridge. Remove it, clean the contacts and reattach it. If it keeps blinking, the coil or cart may need to be replaced.

How do I know when my Yocan is fully charged?

On most models, the light glows or flashes while charging, then turns off or changes colour once it's full. Unplug it once it's charged to help the battery last longer, and check your manual for your model's exact light pattern.

What voltage should I use on my Yocan?

Lower voltages give better flavour and smoother hits, while higher voltages give bigger clouds. Start low and work your way up.

Will my cartridge fit a Yocan 510 battery?

Most standard 510 cartridges fit, but some batteries only fit narrower carts. If your cart is extra wide, the UNI Pro and UNI 3.0 adjust to fit a wider range of cartridge sizes.

What warranty comes with Yocan?

Most Yocan devices come with a limited manufacturer warranty that covers the battery. Coils and atomizers are wear parts and usually aren't covered.
