Build Quality and Materials

The Orbit has a sturdy stainless steel body that feels solid in your hand. The glass cover sits on top and seals with rubber rings, so it comes off easily for loading and cleaning. Spare seal rings are included in the box.

The glass is the most fragile part, so handle it with a little care and consider a case for everyday carry. The lanyard and hanging ring make it easy to keep the pen close by.

How does it work?

1. Charge it fully with the USB-C cable.
2. Press the button 5 times quickly to turn it on.
3. Remove the mouthpiece and glass cover, then drop a small dab into the centre of the quartz cup.
4. Replace the cover and mouthpiece.
5. Press the button 3 times to switch between the voltage settings. The light colour shows which one you're on.
6. Hold the button to heat, and inhale.

For thick or cold concentrate, use the 10-second preheat to warm it up first.

Tip: Keep your dabs small, about the size of a grain of rice, and drop them right in the centre of the cup. Overloading leads to clogging and uneven heating. A heated tool like the Yocan Blade makes loading much easier.

Temperature Settings

The Orbit has three voltage settings, shown by the light colour:

• White: 3.4V, for the most flavour
• Blue: 3.7V, a balance of flavour and vapor
• Green: 4.0V, for bigger, harder hits

Start on the lowest setting and work up. Short taps on the button usually give better flavour than holding it down for the full cycle.

Cleaning and Maintenance

1. Let the pen cool.

4. Wipe the outside with a dry cloth.
5. Let everything dry fully before reassembling.

For a deeper clean, soak the glass cover in isopropyl alcohol, then rinse and dry it completely. Never get the battery base wet.
