The Yocan Black Pocket is a compact concentrate vaporizer from Yocan's premium Black line. It sits between a dab pen and a portable e-rig. It's small enough for a pocket but heats more like a larger device. The Pocket came out in 2025, and you might also see it called the Yocan Pocket or the Yocan Pocket vaporizer.

Most dab pens use a coil that heats from the bottom up. The Pocket uses a ceramic bucket that heats from all sides at once. Build Quality and Materials

The Pocket has an aluminum alloy body with a matte finish that resists scratches and fingerprints. It feels dense and well made for its size. The Cloud 3.1 chamber is all ceramic, so it holds heat well and doesn't add a metallic taste to your vapour. The mouthpiece is silicone, which stays comfortable on your lips even at higher temperatures. Both the screen and the USB-C port sit flush with the body, giving it a clean, solid feel.

How does it work?

1. Charge the Pocket fully with the included USB-C cable before your first use.
2. Remove the cap to open the chamber.
3. Drop a couple of terp pearls into the ceramic bucket if they aren't already in there.
4. Use the pick tool to load a small amount of concentrate into the bucket.
5. Put the cap back on.
6. Press the button five times quickly to turn the Pocket on.
7. Press the button three times quickly to enter temperature mode, then use single presses to change your setting.
8. Press the button twice to start heating. When it vibrates, it's ready.
9. Inhale slowly and watch the terp pearls spin.

Keep the Pocket upright while it's loaded. Melted concentrate can run out of the bucket if you tilt it.

Temperature Settings

The Pocket's range goes from 400°F to 580°F. Here's a simple guide:

• 400°F to 450°F: The best flavour and smoothest hits. Great for terpene-rich concentrates like live resin.
• 450°F to 500°F: A good balance of flavour and cloud size. Most people settle here.
• 500°F to 580°F: Big, heavy clouds with less flavour.

If you're not sure where to start, try about 450°F and adjust from there. Low temperatures also keep the chamber cleaner and make each load last longer.

Cleaning and Maintenance

1. Turn off the Pocket and let it cool completely.
2. Remove the cap and take out the terp pearls.
3. Wipe the inside of the bucket gently with a Q-tip lightly dampened with isopropyl alcohol.
4. Soak the terp pearls in isopropyl alcohol, then rinse and let them dry fully.
5. Wipe the mouthpiece and cap with a damp Q-tip.
6. Let everything dry completely before you put it back together.

Never soak the device or let liquid reach the battery. Wiping the bucket with a dry Q-tip while it's still slightly warm after each session makes deep cleans much easier.

Flavor and Cloud Performance

Flavour is where the Pocket really shines, especially at lower temperatures. The ceramic bucket and even heating bring out terpenes in a way most dab pens can't. At higher temperatures, it puts out thick, satisfying clouds for its size. Because the vapour path is short, hits can feel warm at the top of the range. Slower draws help with that.
