About the Yocan Ziva Pro
Released in 2024, the Ziva Pro is an upgrade to Yocan’s original Ziva. It keeps the same idea, a discreet box that hides your cart, and adds a sharper OLED screen, a screen lock and more precise voltage control.
The biggest selling point is the auto draw. There’s no button to hold while you vape. Once it’s on and unlocked, you just take a puff and the Ziva Pro does the rest. That makes it really easy to use one-handed and a good pick if you’re used to disposables but want a reusable battery for your carts.
Your cart connects with a magnetic adapter and sits fully inside the body, so it stays protected and out of sight. For anyone looking for one of the more discreet 510 batteries out there, the Yocan Ziva Pro is a solid option.

Everything Else You Need to Know About the Yocan Ziva Pro
Build Quality and Materials
The Ziva Pro has an aluminum body, which holds up much better than the plastic shells on a lot of cheaper cart batteries. It feels sturdy and well made, and the magnetic connections click into place securely.
The finish is smooth, so it can feel a little slippery in the hand. It’s compact enough to fit in a pocket or palm, and since the cart is hidden inside, there’s nothing sticking out to snag or snap.
How does it work?
The Ziva Pro takes a few clicks to get going, but once it’s set up it’s as easy as it gets. Here are the controls:
- Load your cart: Screw the magnetic adapter onto your cartridge. Pull the mouthpiece off the base, drop the cart into the chamber, and put the mouthpiece back on.
- Turn on/off: Press the power button 5 times quickly.
- Unlock the screen: Press the power button 4 times quickly. The lock stops settings from changing in your pocket.
- Change voltage: Tap the power button 3 times to enter voltage mode. Each tap after that raises it by 0.1V, or hold the button to scroll faster.
- Preheat: Double-press the power button to warm up your cart for 10 seconds.
- Vape: Just inhale. No need to hold any buttons.
- Charge: Plug in the included USB-C cable.
If you’re not getting any vapor, check a few things first. Make sure the device is on and unlocked, your cart is fully seated on the magnetic adapter, and the voltage isn’t set too low for your cart. If it still won’t hit, wipe the contacts with a cotton swab and a bit of isopropyl alcohol, since residue is a common cause of a bad connection.
For battery life, the 650mAh battery gets most casual users through a full day. The OLED screen does use a bit more power than batteries with simple LED lights, so heavier users may need a top up during the day.
Pros and Cons
Pros
- Auto draw means no button holding
- OLED screen shows voltage, battery, resistance, puffs and a hit timer
- Precise 0.1V voltage control
- Hidden cart design is very discreet
- Screen lock prevents accidental changes
- Aluminum body feels durable
Cons
- Takes several clicks to turn on, unlock and set voltage before your first hit
- Smooth finish can feel slippery
- Heavy users may need to charge more than once a day
- Carts wider than 14mm or taller than 62mm won’t fit
Temperature Settings
Like most 510 batteries, the Ziva Pro uses voltage instead of exact temperatures. More voltage means more heat to your coil, and there are no presets, so it’s up to you to find what works.
- Lower range (around 1.8V to 2.8V): Best for flavour and smooth hits. Start here with any new cart.
- Mid range (around 2.8V to 3.4V): A good balance of flavour and vapour, and where most people find the best voltage for their oil carts.
- Higher range (around 3.4V to 4.2V): Bigger, thicker clouds, but can taste harsh or burnt on some carts.
Start low and work your way up 0.1V at a time until you hit the sweet spot. If your oil is thick or the cart’s been sitting in the cold, run the preheat before your first puff. The resistance reading on the screen is also handy for confirming your cart is connecting properly.
Warranty
The Yocan Ziva Pro comes with a 3-month warranty. If something goes wrong in that time, send us a short video showing the issue. Once it’s confirmed defective, a replacement gets shipped out and there’s no need to send the original back.
