About the Yocan Evolve Plus Coils
These are genuine Yocan replacement coils for the Yocan Evolve Plus wax pen. Each pack includes five coils, and you can choose between two types: the QDC Quartz Dual Coil or the Ceramic Donut Coil. Both fit the same pen, so you can pick based on how you like to dab, or keep a pack of each and switch whenever you want.
QDC (Quartz Dual Coil)
This is the classic Evolve Plus coil. Instead of a fibre wick, two heating coils wrap around quartz rods, so nothing in the chamber soaks up or holds onto your concentrate. Quartz heats quickly and gives a clean, smooth hit with true flavour. With two coils working together, the QDC heats fast and puts out thicker clouds. It's the better choice if you want quick, strong hits.
Ceramic Donut Coil
The Ceramic Donut uses a solid ceramic heating surface made without glue. Your wax sits on the ceramic and vaporizes gently and evenly, which helps prevent dry, harsh hits and lets your concentrate last longer. Flavour is excellent. According to Yocan, a single Donut coil can last 6 to 12 months with proper care, so it's the better pick if you value flavour and want fewer coil changes.
Compatibility
These coils are made for the original Yocan Evolve Plus.
They don't fit the Yocan Evolve Plus XL, which uses a larger quad coil. If you have the Evolve Plus XL, you'll need the Yocan Evolve Plus XL Coils (5 Pack).
They're for wax and other concentrates only.
What's Included
Choose your coil type above and check current availability.
- QDC option: 5x Yocan Evolve Plus Quartz Dual Coils
- Ceramic Donut option: 5x Yocan Evolve Plus Ceramic Donut Coils
Coil caps (lids) aren't included. Keep the cap from your current coil and move it onto the new one.
Specs

- QDC Material: Quartz rods with dual heating coils
- Ceramic Donut Material: All ceramic, no glue

How to Replace the Coil
- Turn the pen off and let the coil cool completely.
- Remove the mouthpiece.
- Unscrew the cap from the old coil and set it aside.
- Unscrew the old coil from the battery.
- Screw the new coil into the battery until it's snug. Don't overtighten it.
- Screw your cap onto the new coil and put the mouthpiece back on.
- Use small loads for the first few hits to break in the new coil.
When to Replace Your Coil
Replace your coil when hits taste burnt or harsh even after a burn-off, when clouds get noticeably weaker, or when residue builds up and won't burn off. QDC coils usually need replacing more often than Ceramic Donut coils. How long either one lasts depends on how often you dab and how much you load.
You'll get more life out of either type with small loads, a short dry burn after each session to clear leftover wax, and never loading a coil that's still very hot.
