Buy Dab Tools Online in Canada

Concentrates are sticky, and your fingers aren’t the right tool for the job. A good dab tool lets you pick up the right amount of wax, shatter or sauce and get it onto your banger without making a mess.

We carry dab tools from Skilletools, Gear Premium, Lit Silicone and Puffco. You’ll find single dabbers and keychain tools, full travel kits and heated hot knives.

Why Use a Proper Dab Tool

Less mess. The right tip holds onto your concentrate, so it doesn’t end up on your fingers, your table or the side of your rig.

Less waste. A clean, precise tool lets you load exactly what you want and scrape every last bit out of the jar.

Keeps your hands away from the heat. A banger is extremely hot right after you torch it, and a dab tool keeps your fingers a safe distance away.

Better dabs. Loading a consistent amount each time makes your hits easier to dial in.

Types of Dab Tools

Scoops

A scoop tip has a small cupped end that holds runny concentrates like sauce, badder and live resin without dripping.

Pointed Tools

A pointed tip is good for picking up small pieces of shatter and other hard concentrates.

Scrapers and Paddles

A flat tip works for wax, budder and crumble, and for scraping the last bits out of a jar or off parchment.

Hot Knives

A hot knife heats its tip so sticky concentrates slide right off instead of clinging to the tool. It’s the cleanest way to load, especially with thick or cold extracts. Here are the hot knives we carry:

Puffco Hot Knife: A glazed ceramic tip that heats with one button. It charges by USB-C in about 25 minutes and gets around 50 uses per charge. It’s built for Puffco devices but works with any rig or dab pen.

G Pen Melt Hot Knife: A compact hot knife about 3.94" long, so it fits easily in a pocket or travel kit. Its ceramic tip heats to a fixed 302°F (150°C), which melts concentrates without burning them. It has a 500mAh battery with USB-C charging, and pass-through charging lets you use it while it’s plugged in.

Dr Dabber Drop: A ceramic tip with two heat settings. Use high to melt wax quickly and low to scoop sticky crumble. It heats up in under 7 seconds, charges by USB-C and has a magnetic cap to cover the tip.

Focus V Saber: An electric dabber with low, medium and high heat settings, a stainless steel body and a silicone grip. It handles everything from diamonds and sauce to thick wax, and it’s USB rechargeable.

Carb Cap and Dabber Combos

These tools have a dabber on one end and a carb cap on the other, so you can load and cap with the same piece.

Keychain Tools and Travel Kits

Mini dab tools clip onto your keys so you always have one with you. Travel kits give you several tips in one small package.

Gear Premium Skilletools Travel Kit (9 Pieces): One stainless steel handle threaded on both ends, plus 8 interchangeable tips, all packed in a small pouch. It’s a good pick if you want every tip type in one kit.

Gear Premium Skilletools Scoop Dogg: A dedicated scoop for sauce and other runny concentrates.

Skilletools XL Scraper: A larger flat tool for scraping jars and working with bigger amounts.

Skilletools Keychain Mini Tools: Pocket-sized tools, including the Dr. Dabs and Honey Bun, that clip onto your keys.

Gear Premium Quartz Carb Cap and Dabber: A carb cap and dabber in one. It’s an easy add-on if your rig didn’t come with a cap.

Lit Silicone Anodized Dabber Set: A dabber set that pairs well with the Lit Silicone Concentrate Storage Tray for keeping your concentrates in one spot.

Puffco Hot Knife: A heated ceramic tip that loads concentrates cleanly. It charges by USB-C in about 25 minutes and gets around 50 uses per charge. It’s built for Puffco devices but works with any rig or dab pen.

How to Use a Dab Tool

  1. Pick the right tip for your concentrate: a scoop for sauce, a pointed tip for shatter, or a paddle for wax.
  2. Grab a small amount. It’s easier to add more next time than to waste a big dab.
  3. Heat your banger, then let it cool to your preferred temperature.
  4. Touch the concentrate to the bottom of the banger and roll the tool so it melts off.
  5. Put your carb cap on and take your hit.
  6. Wipe the tool clean with a paper towel or a cotton swab dipped in isopropyl alcohol.

Gear That Pairs With Your Dab Tool

A dab tool is just one part of your setup. Round it out with:

If you’d rather skip the torch, an electric dab rig heats to an exact temperature at the push of a button. A dab pen does the same in a pocket-sized package.

FAQs

What is a dab tool?

A dab tool, also called a dabber, is a small tool for picking up concentrates and loading them into your banger, e-rig or dab pen. It keeps your hands clean and away from the heat.

What’s the best dab tool?

It depends on what you dab. If you want everything covered, a kit like the Skilletools Travel Kit gives you every tip type. If you dab a lot of sticky concentrates, a hot knife is the cleanest way to load.

What’s the best material for a dab tool?

Stainless steel is the most common because it’s tough and easy to clean. Glass and quartz tools are smooth and gentler on your banger, but they can break if you drop them.

How do I clean a dab tool?

Wipe it while it’s still a little warm, since concentrates come off more easily. For a deeper clean, soak or wipe it with isopropyl alcohol, then let it dry.

Can I use something else as a dab tool?

It’s not a good idea. Paper clips and bobby pins can have coatings that you don’t want near heat. A proper dab tool is cheap, and it’s made for the job.
