The PAX Flow is the most powerful PAX ever made. It's a pocket-sized dry herb vaporizer that combines PAX's signature simple design with hybrid heating and a much more open draw.

Inside, a hybrid system heats your herb through both conduction and convection, and a real-time temperature control system adjusts to how you draw and how your oven is packed. Take slow sips or bigger pulls, and the Flow keeps the vapor consistent.

The Flow also changes how you load. Instead of loading from the bottom like older PAX models, a magnetic oven door on the side pops off for direct access to the oven. It's PAX's first device with USB-C charging, and it comes with a 4-year warranty.

Build Quality and Materials

The PAX Flow has an aluminum body with a soft-touch finish that resists fingerprints and everyday wear. The oven and vapor path are made from medical-grade stainless steel and sealed off from the internal components.

It's the largest PAX yet, but at about 135g, it still feels light and slips easily into a pocket or bag.

How does it work?

Charge the Flow fully before first use. Press the oven door to pop it off, lightly fill the oven with semi-coarse ground herb, and replace the door.

Hold the button for 2 seconds to turn it on. The LED petals glow while heating and turn green when it's ready. Tap the button to cycle through the heat modes. When you're done, the Flow shuts off on its own when idle, or you can hold the button to power it down.

Temperature Settings

The Flow has five heat modes, shown by the LED petals:

• Discreet (Purple): 356°F / 180°C. Lower vapor and softer feedback for low-key sessions.
• Efficiency (Green): 374°F / 190°C. Tuned to stretch your herb over longer sessions.
• Flavor (Yellow): 392°F / 200°C. Terpene-rich vapor with more body.
• Max Vapor (Orange): 419°F / 215°C. Denser, stronger clouds.
• Bong Mode (Rainbow): 437°F / 225°C. Made for water pipe sessions.

Rather than holding one fixed temperature, the Flow fine-tunes its heat as you draw, so each mode stays consistent from start to finish.

Features That Stand Out

Bong Mode is unique to the PAX Flow. To activate it, cycle through the four standard modes twice. A rainbow animation confirms it's on. It's designed for use with the PAX Flow Water Pipe Adapter, sold separately, for smooth, water-filtered hits.

Real-time temperature control is the other big one. The Flow reads your draw and your pack, then adjusts its heat on the fly.

A few smaller touches stand out too. Shake the Flow to check your battery, with each lit petal equal to 25%. You can also adjust LED brightness by rotating the device, and haptic vibrations let you know when it's ready.

Cleaning and Maintenance

Let the Flow cool for at least 15 minutes after use. Remove the oven door and use the multi-tool to clear out any leftover herb.

Dip a cotton swab in isopropyl alcohol and wipe down the oven, airpath and mouthpiece area. Let everything dry completely before putting it back together. Cleaning every few sessions keeps airflow open and flavor fresh.

Flavor and Cloud Performance

The Flow delivers full, smooth vapor from the first draw. Lower modes bring out bright flavor with visible vapor, while Max Vapor and Bong Mode push out thick, satisfying clouds without getting harsh.

The open airflow makes every pull feel easy rather than tight, which is one of the biggest upgrades over older PAX devices.
