The Arizer Air Max is the follow-up to the Arizer Air and Air 2, released in 2022. It keeps the classic Air shape and glass aroma tubes that made the original so popular, then adds the upgrades people wanted most: a bigger battery, a digital display and precise temperature control.

The standout feature is the battery. The Air Max runs on a high-capacity 26650 battery that gives you up to 2¼ hours of use per charge, and it's swappable. Carry a spare and you can keep going all day.

Arizer's glass aroma tubes are central to the Air Max. Your herb sits in pure borosilicate glass, so the flavour stays clean, and you can pre-load tubes at home and carry them in the included travel tubes. Want the full hands-on breakdown? Everything Else You Need to Know About The Arizer Air Max

Build Quality and Materials

The Air Max keeps the familiar Air design, with a sturdy body that fits in a hand or bag. The heater is ceramic, and Arizer backs it with a lifetime warranty, which shows how long these devices are built to last.

The aroma tubes are pure borosilicate glass, so your vapor never touches plastic. They're easy to clean, and the included stem caps and travel tubes keep them protected on the go.

How does it work?

1. Charge the Air Max with the included USB-C charger.
2. Grind your herb and fill a glass aroma tube.
3. Insert the tube into the heater.
4. Turn it on and set your temperature with the buttons.
5. Once it reaches temperature (usually in under a minute), draw slowly through the tube.

You can also use it while it's charging, which is handy if the battery runs low mid-session.

Pros and Cons

Pros

• Long battery life, up to 2¼ hours per charge
• Swappable battery for all-day use
• Clean flavour from glass aroma tubes
• Precise temperature control
• Easy pre-loading with stem caps and travel tubes
• Connects to your own glass with the 14mm frosted tube
• Lifetime warranty on the heater

Cons

• Larger than pocket-sized portables
• Exposed glass tube needs care when you're out
• Slower heat up than the Solo 3 or Go SRT

Temperature Settings

Set any temperature from 122°F to 428°F (50°C to 220°C) in one-degree steps. Arizer's own recommendations:

• 356°F to 392°F (180°C to 200°C): Smooth, tasty sessions
• 392°F to 428°F (200°C to 220°C): Stronger, faster extraction

Features That Stand Out

Custom Session Settings let you set up the Air Max your way, including temperature alerts and a shut-off timer. Dark Mode dims the display for more discreet use, and your Normal and Dark Mode settings are saved separately, so switching back and forth is quick.

The frosted glass aroma tube has a universal 14mm male fitting, so you can connect the Air Max to your own bong or bubbler for water-filtered hits. When you flip it upside down, the display flips with it so it's still easy to read.

The Air Max also works as a personal aroma diffuser. Use the glass aroma dish to heat herbs and botanicals for a relaxing or energizing scent.

Cleaning and Maintenance

Empty the aroma tube after each session and brush out any leftover herb. To deep clean, soak the glass tubes and dish in isopropyl alcohol, rinse with warm water and let them dry fully. Replace the steel filter screens when they get clogged.

Flavor and Cloud Performance

Arizer's glass aroma tubes are known for great flavour, and the Air Max is no exception. The glass cools the vapor and keeps it tasting like your herb. Lower settings bring out the terpenes, while the top of the range gives you thicker, stronger hits. For even smoother hits, connect it to a water pipe with the frosted tube.

Accessories And Parts That Fit

The Air Max comes with two glass aroma tubes, a glass aroma dish, stem caps, travel tubes and spare screens, so you're ready to go out of the box. A spare 26650 battery is the most useful add-on if you vape a lot away from home.

Where This Fits in Your Setup

The Air Max is the Arizer for people who want the longest battery life and a swappable battery. If you want something faster and more powerful, look at the Arizer Solo 3. For something smaller with pre-fillable glass pods, check out the Arizer Go SRT. For home sessions with a whip or balloons, there's the Arizer XQ2.

Warranty

The Arizer Air Max comes with a 2-year manufacturer warranty and a lifetime warranty on the heater. Normal battery wear, general wear and tear, and glass aroma tubes aren't covered.
