The Storz & Bickel Volcano Hybrid is the modern version of the world's best-known desktop vaporizer. It keeps the classic Volcano balloon system and adds a tube option, so you can fill a balloon to pass around or draw straight from the device.

The Hybrid pairs convection and conduction heating with a double helix heat exchanger. The result is dense, flavorful vapor and a heat-up time of about 40 seconds, far faster than the Volcano Classic.

Build Quality and Materials

Every Volcano Hybrid is engineered and assembled by hand in Germany. The body is solid and stable, built to sit on a table for years of daily use.

The filling chamber is ceramic coated, and the balloons and tubes are made from heat-resistant, odour-free materials. Storz & Bickel also continues to support the Hybrid with replacement parts and firmware updates.

How does it work?

Grind your herb with the included mill and fill the chamber. Attach it to the heater, set your temperature with the + and – buttons, and turn on the heat. The air pump runs briefly to let you know it's ready.

Balloon: Attach a balloon, press the air button to fill it, then remove it and inhale through the mouthpiece.

Tube: Connect the Tube Kit and draw directly from the Hybrid, no pump needed.

Temperature Settings

You can set any temperature from 104°F to 446°F (40°C to 230°C) using the buttons or the web app. To switch between Fahrenheit and Celsius, press + and – at the same time.

Lower temperatures bring out more flavor, and higher temperatures produce denser vapor. Many users start around 356°F (180°C) and adjust from there.

Brush the screens with the included cleaning brush after each session. The filling chamber, cap and Tube Kit come apart without tools and can go in the dishwasher or soak in isopropyl alcohol for up to 30 minutes.

For hygiene, Storz & Bickel recommends replacing your balloons and mouthpieces about every two weeks. Balloons are for vapor you'll use soon, not for long-term storage.
