The G Pen Elite 2 is G Pen's flagship dry herb vaporizer. It takes everything people liked about the original Elite and adds better vapor, a full-colour display and precise temperature control.

The big upgrade is the heating. The Elite 2 combines conduction, which heats your herb through the chamber walls, with convection, which pulls hot air through it as you draw. Together, they bring out more flavour and give you a more even extraction than the original Elite. A patented clean air intake also helps keep your vapor tasting fresh.

Build Quality and Materials

The Elite 2 feels solid and premium in the hand, with an ergonomic shape that's easy to hold. The heating chamber is full ceramic, and the zirconia mouthpiece has a spiral ceramic air path that cools the vapor and keeps it comfortable on your lips.

There's a pick tool built right into the bottom of the device, so you've always got something to load and stir with.

How does it work?

1. Charge it fully with the included USB-C cable.
2. Remove the mouthpiece and fill the chamber with ground herb.
3. Replace the mouthpiece.
4. Hold the power button for 3 seconds to turn it on.
5. Use the + and – buttons to set your temperature.
6. When it vibrates, it's ready. Inhale slowly.

Press the power button 5 times to open the settings menu, where you can change session length, haptics and Convection Boost.

Temperature Settings

You can set any temperature from 200°F to 430°F (93°C to 221°C). The display shows the exact temperature as it heats, so you always know when it's ready.

Lower temperatures bring out flavour, while higher ones give you thicker vapor. Many people start around the middle of the range and adjust from there.

Features That Stand Out

Convection Boost is the standout. When it's on, the heater kicks in as you draw, pushing hot air through your herb for denser, more flavourful hits. You can turn it on or off in the settings menu.

The settings menu is also worth mentioning. You can customize session length, haptic feedback and more, so the Elite 2 works the way you want it to.

Cleaning and Maintenance

After each session, empty the chamber and brush out any leftover herb with the built-in pick tool. Every so often, wipe the chamber with a cotton swab lightly dampened with isopropyl alcohol.

Clean the zirconia mouthpiece with isopropyl alcohol and let it dry fully before putting it back on.
