About the Focus V Aeris Vaporizer
The Focus V Aeris sits somewhere between a dab pen and an e-rig. It uses the same large Intelli-Core atomizer you’d normally only find in an electric dab rig, but in a handheld device you can take with you.
That means big, flavorful hits that most wax pens just can’t match. The trade-off is size. The Aeris is bigger than a typical dab pen, so it’s better suited to a bag or jacket pocket than your jeans.
It runs on a single button with five colour-coded presets, and the V Browser app lets you fine-tune temperatures and session times. Browse the full lineup in our Focus V collection.

Everything Else You Need to Know About The Focus V Aeris
Build Quality and Materials
The Aeris has a hard shell wrapped in a soft-touch silicone cover. It feels solid, grips well and doesn’t slip out of your hand. The “V” button is easy to find by feel, and RGB lights show which preset you’re on.
The magnetic mouthpiece slides straight on and off with no twisting, and the magnets seal it tight around the chamber. It has a ceramic insert that helps cool the vapor, and the silicone cover stays outside the airpath, so it doesn’t affect the taste. Two air holes on the mouthpiece let you adjust the draw.
How does it work?
- Charge it fully with the USB-C cable before first use. It takes up to 2 hours, and the light on the back goes solid when it’s full.
- Thread the Intelli-Core atomizer clockwise into the base until snug.
- Pull off the mouthpiece and load a dab into the bottom of the atomizer with a dab tool. Wax loaded too high can get pulled toward the air hole.
- Slide the mouthpiece back on.
- Press the V button 5 times to turn it on.
- Press once to cycle through the presets.
- Double-press to start heating. It vibrates when it starts and again when it reaches temperature.
- Draw slowly and steadily. Cover one or both air holes on the mouthpiece to adjust the draw.
Double-press during a session to add 10 seconds, or press once to end it early. Press 3 times to cycle the LED modes, including a stealth mode with the lights off, and 4 times to check your battery level.
Pros and Cons
Pros
- E-rig-level vapor from a handheld device
- Large Intelli-Core atomizer for bigger dabs
- Adjustable airflow
- Removable battery pack you can charge on its own
- App control if you want it
- Stealth mode turns the lights off
- Works with Carta Sport atomizers and the Aeris Bubbler
Cons
- Bulky compared to a regular dab pen
- No water filtration unless you add the Aeris Bubbler
- 1-year warranty on the base and 6 months on the battery
Temperature Settings
The Aeris has five colour-coded presets you can cycle through with a single click:
- Blue: 425°F
- Yellow: 450°F
- Green: 475°F
- Purple: 500°F
- Red: 525°F
Blue is the flavour-focused setting, and Red gives you the densest vapor. In the V Browser app, you can set each preset anywhere from 365°F to 600°F and adjust session times.
Features That Stand Out
The Intelli-Core atomizer is the main reason to buy the Aeris. Its large ceramic bowl heats from all sides, which means even heating, less wasted concentrate and much bigger hits than a coil-style pen.
The removable battery pack is the other highlight. Detach the bottom of the base to charge it on its own, and because it’s a replaceable 18650 battery, a worn-out battery doesn’t mean buying a whole new device.
Cleaning and Maintenance
Cleaning is simple. After every session, wipe the atomizer cup with a dry cotton swab while it’s still warm, paying attention to the bottom of the chamber. The bucket-style chamber doesn’t trap residue the way coils do.
Every 25 to 50 sessions, soak the atomizer in 70% to 90% isopropyl alcohol and clean the base port with an iso-dampened swab. Rinse the mouthpiece with warm water or iso as needed, and let everything dry fully before your next session.
The ceramic insert pulls out of the mouthpiece for a deeper clean. It’s a snug fit, so press on the sides with your thumbs to slide it out, and go easy since ceramic can crack.
Flavor and Cloud Performance
The Aeris delivers clean, flavourful vapor with a lot more body than most pens. The 3D heating keeps the temperature even, so you avoid scorching your concentrate.
Want smoother, cooler hits? Add the Focus V Aeris Bubbler for water filtration.
Accessories And Parts That Fit
The Aeris uses the same Intelli-Core atomizers as the Carta Sport. Keep a spare Intelli-Core Atomizer for Oil, or upgrade to the Intelli-Core Max Atomizer for bigger dabs.
Add water filtration with the Focus V Aeris Bubbler, and keep it charged at home with the Aeris Charging Dock. The Focus V Swivel kit adds smooth airflow control and replacement silicone parts, and the Focus V Saber makes loading sticky concentrates easy.
Where This Fits in Your Setup
The Aeris is for dabbers who want real e-rig hits on the go. If you’d rather have a full water-filtered rig for home, look at the Focus V Carta Sport or the Focus V Carta 3.

Warranty
The Aeris base comes with a 1-year limited warranty from Focus V, and the replaceable battery is covered for 6 months. Warranty claims are handled directly through Focus V, and you can register your device on their warranty portal. Atomizers are wear parts with shorter coverage.
FAQs
Is the Focus V Aeris a dab pen or a e-rig?
It’s a dab pen, but it rips like an e-rig. It’s handheld like a pen and uses the same Intelli-Core atomizer as the Carta Sport e-rig. Go one step further and add the Aeris Bubbler, which filters your dab through water and makes it even more like an e-rig.
Is the Aeris portable?
Yes, but it’s bigger than most dab pens. It fits well in a bag or jacket pocket.
What temperatures does the Aeris use?
It has 5 presets from 425°F to 525°F, and you can customize them anywhere from 365°F to 600°F in the app.
How long does the battery last?
About 15 to 20 sessions per charge, and it charges fully over USB-C in up to 2 hours. The battery pack also detaches, so you can charge it on its own.
Do Carta atomizers fit the Aeris?
Carta Sport atomizers do, since the Aeris uses the same Intelli-Core atomizers. The Carta 3 uses its own Intelli-Core 3 atomizer, which is a different design.
