About the Auxo Cenote
AUXO, a vaporizer brand from CCELL, released the Cenote in 2022. Its rounded, cylindrical base fits easily in your hand, and the clear glass recycler sits right on top, so you can watch the lights and the water move while you hit it.
The big selling point is the nail. Each session runs in a ceramic nail that slides over a stainless steel heating rod. When residue starts building up or the flavour fades, you pull the nail and drop in a new one. No soaking, no scraping, and no burnt leftovers muting your next dab.
Out of the box, three presets cover most sessions. If you want more control, the AUXO app unlocks Pro Mode, where you set your own temperature and session length. Browse our full range of electric dab rigs, or see everything from the brand in our Auxo vaporizers and parts collection.

Everything Else You Need to Know About the Auxo Cenote
Build Quality and Materials
The base is made from a tough PC and TPE shell with a soft, grippy finish, and the recycler is hand-blown borosilicate glass. The heating rod is stainless steel, and the nails are aluminum oxide ceramic. A thin heating film on the rod spreads heat evenly across the nail, so your concentrate vaporizes instead of scorching. It all packs into the included travel case.
How does it work?
- Fill the glass recycler with water to the fill line.
- Use the loading tool to drop a small amount of concentrate into a ceramic nail, then press the nail fully into place.
- Hold the button for 3 seconds to turn the Cenote on.
- Tap the button to move through the 3 presets. It heats up in about 28 seconds.
- When the lights show it’s ready, take slow, steady pulls.
- Hold the button to turn it off when you’re done.
Pros and Cons
Pros
- Swapping nails makes cleanup fast
- Water filtration keeps hits smooth
- Wireless charging on any Qi pad
- Fun, customizable light show
- Small enough to travel with in the included case
Cons
- The ceramic nails are a consumable you’ll need to replace
- Pro Mode and full custom settings need the app
- Sessions are on the shorter side
- Battery life covers around a dozen sessions per charge
Temperature Settings
The Cenote has 3 presets you can use without the app:
- Setting 1 (518°F / 270°C): Lower heat for the best flavour
- Setting 2 (572°F / 300°C): A balance of flavour and vapour
- Setting 3 (626°F / 330°C): Bigger, thicker clouds
Pro Mode in the AUXO app lets you pick any temperature from 392°F to 644°F (200°C to 340°C) and set your own session length. The app can also add 20 seconds to a session when you want a longer hit.
Features That Stand Out
Swap-out ceramic nails: The disposable nail is what makes the Cenote different. You get 5 in the box, and switching to a fresh one takes seconds.
360° light show: Lights in the base and deck shine up through the glass recycler. There are 8 lighting effects built in, and new ones show up through the app from time to time.
Wireless charging: Set the base on any Qi-certified wireless charger and it tops up without a cable. USB-C charging is there too when you need it.
Cleaning and Maintenance
The nail does most of the work for you, but a little upkeep keeps every session tasting clean:
- Swap in a fresh nail when you notice residue building up or the flavour dropping off.
- Wipe the heating rod and silicone rod seals with a cotton swab after sessions.
- Change the water in the recycler often.
- Rinse the glass with warm water, and use isopropyl alcohol for a deeper clean.
Flavour and Cloud Performance
Because the nail is ceramic and you’re never dabbing on old residue, the Cenote keeps flavour clean and true to your concentrate. Setting 1 is where terpenes really come through. Setting 3 and the upper end of Pro Mode push out much thicker clouds, and the water in the recycler keeps them smooth.
Accessories and Parts That Fit
Add the Auxo Cenote Wireless Charger for a dedicated spot to charge without cables. For more AUXO gear, check out our Auxo vaporizers and parts collection.
Where This Fits in Your Setup
The Cenote sits between a dab pen and a full-size home e-rig. If you’d rather have a reusable chamber and a larger rig for sessions at home, look at the Puffco New Peak. If you want a portable e-rig with no atomizer to ever replace, the Dr Dabber Switch Go is worth a look.

Warranty
The Auxo Cenote comes with a 10-year limited manufacturer warranty on the device. The ceramic nails are disposable parts and aren’t meant to last forever. Buying from an authorized dealer like Canadian Vaporizers keeps your warranty valid.
