The Vane 2 has an aluminum body that feels solid without being heavy. The ceramic heating chamber is gentle on flavour and doesn't add a metallic taste. The magnetic mouthpiece snaps on firmly and comes off easily for loading. The colour display is built cleanly into the front of the device and is easy to read. The body can get warm during back-to-back sessions at high temperatures, which is normal for a vaporizer this small.

How does it work?

1. Charge the Vane 2 fully with the included USB-C cable before your first use.
2. Pull off the magnetic mouthpiece.
3. Fill the chamber with finely ground herb. Pack it loosely so air can move through it.
4. Put the mouthpiece back on.
5. Press the power button five times quickly to turn it on.
6. Use the plus (+) and minus (-) buttons to set your temperature. Each press changes it by 1 degree, and holding a button changes it by 10 degrees.
7. Press the power button twice to start heating.
8. Wait for the vibration, which usually comes in about 30 seconds. Then take slow, steady draws.
9. The session runs for 3 minutes, then the Vane 2 cools down on its own.

To switch between Fahrenheit and Celsius, hold the power button and the plus (+) button at the same time.

Temperature Settings

The Vane 2 can be set anywhere from 200°F to 480°F. Here's a simple way to approach it:

• 350°F to 380°F: Lighter vapour with the best flavour. A good place to start.
• 380°F to 410°F: A balance of flavour and cloud size. Most people settle here.
• 410°F and up: Thicker clouds and a heavier effect, with less flavour.

A good trick is to start low and raise the temperature by 10 to 15 degrees partway through your bowl. You'll get more out of each load that way. We don't recommend the very top of the range for regular use, since flavour drops off and the device runs hotter.
