At Canadian Vaporizers, we stand behind every product we sell. Depending on the brand, some warranties are handled directly in-house, while others are processed through the manufacturer’s warranty program.

Most warranty claims are processed and completed within 1-7 days.

There’s no need to ship your defective product back, we keep the process simple. If you experience an issue, just send us a short video showing the problem, and once we confirm your product is defective, a replacement will be shipped right away. You can keep the original product, no returns necessary.

About the Stache Terp Tap Vaporizer

The Terp Tap by Stache is a tabletop vaporizer built around 510 cartridges. Set it on your table, thread on your cart, pick a voltage and pull the tap handle. It dispenses vapour into a glass cup, a bit like pulling a drink from a tap.

What makes it different is the second port. You can run two cartridges at the same time, or put a cartridge in one port and a dry herb coil in the other. The glass cup, carb cap, dab tool and USB-C cable are all in the box, so there’s nothing else to buy before your first session.

The Terp Tap is made for carts first. It can handle dry herb with a dry herb coil, but Stache is clear that it isn’t meant to be a dedicated dry herb vaporizer, and it doesn’t work with concentrates other than cartridges. If carts are your main thing and you want a clean, simple setup at home, this is what it’s built for.

Everything Else You Need to Know About the Stache Terp Tap

Build Quality and Materials

At 7.5 lbs, the Terp Tap has real weight, so it sits firmly on the table and won’t tip over easily. The removable glass cup sits on the base right under the tap handle. Each cartridge is covered by a silicone tube with magnetic closures that create a seal around it. The whole unit can be taken apart for deeper cleaning.

How does it work?

Thread a 510 cartridge onto a cartridge connection. Make sure it’s secure, but don’t overtighten it.
Slide the silicone tube over the cartridge and close the magnetic closures to seal it.
Set the glass cup on the base, directly under the tap handle.
Press the control button three times to cycle through the six voltage settings, then choose the one you want.
Gently pull the tap handle to start dispensing vapour into the cup.
You can also press the power button twice to turn on automatic session mode.
When you’re done, let go of the tap handle and make sure the device has stopped running.

The Terp Tap uses six voltage settings, and each one shows up as a different colour on the display, so you can tell at a glance where you’re set:

Cleaning and Maintenance

Keeping the Terp Tap clean helps prevent clogs and keeps the airflow consistent. Stache recommends:

Run Clean Mode after every session. Press the power button four times. It pumps out excess air and leftover product, which helps cut down on buildup.
Wipe the ports and threads after each use. Use a cotton swab lightly dampened with isopropyl alcohol. Make sure the device is off and everything is completely dry before you use it again. Never pour alcohol directly into the device.
Disassemble it now and then. Take the unit apart for a more thorough clean, and handle the connections and delicate parts gently.
Be careful with dry herb coils. Don’t touch or press the heating wires, don’t pack material in tightly, and never put cleaning tools into the coils.

The glass cup comes off the base for easy cleaning.

Accessories And Parts That Fit

You don’t need any extra accessories to get started. Just bring your own 510 thread cartridges. If you want to use dry herb, you’ll need a Terp Tap dry herb coil, which isn’t in the box.

Stache Terp Tap vs Zenco

Both are tabletop vapour cups, but they’re built for different users. A Zenco, like the Zenco Uno or Zenco Duo, handles concentrates, 510 cartridges and dry herb. It has four heat settings and works with a whole range of interchangeable glassware. The Terp Tap is focused on cartridges. It has two ports so you can run two carts at once, six voltage settings, and a display with battery and ohm readings.

If you dab wax or resin, go with a Zenco. If you mostly use carts and want to run two at a time, go with the Terp Tap.

Where This Fits in Your Setup

The Terp Tap is the at-home base for cartridge users. It’s a nice change from holding a pen battery to your mouth all night, and it makes sharing carts easier. When you leave the house, take your carts with you on one of our 510 thread batteries.
