About the Pulsar Sipper Dry Cup Edition
The Pulsar Sipper Dry Cup Edition takes the same base as the original Sipper and pairs it with a glass dry cup instead of the bubbler. There's no water to fill or spill, which makes it ideal for road trips, parties and days by the pool. It's also shorter than the bubbler version, so it's easier to pack away when you're done.
It works the same way as the original. Load wax onto the triple quartz atomizer or screw on a 510 cart, then double-tap the touchpad. The pump fills the cup with vapour, and you lift it off the base to sip slowly or pass it around. Without water in the way, the vapour comes through with a little more flavour and density.
The retro lava lamp look is still here, along with the LED ring that shows your battery and voltage setting. The 1,500mAh battery shuts off after 10 minutes of inactivity and charges with USB-C.

Everything Else You Need to Know About the Pulsar Sipper Dry Cup Edition
Build Quality and Materials
The base is the same sturdy unit as the original Sipper. The dry cup is borosilicate glass and shorter than the bubbler cup, so the whole device is more compact. With no water inside, there's nothing to spill when you move it around. The glass still needs careful handling.
How does it work?
- Charge the Sipper fully with the included USB-C cable. The light turns solid green when it's full.
- Load your material. For wax, place a small amount on the triple quartz atomizer with the dab tool. For oil, screw your 510 cart onto the 510 connection.
- Set the dry cup on the base.
- Tap the touchpad five times quickly to turn it on.
- Tap three times to cycle through the four voltage settings.
- Double-tap to start auto-fill. The pump fills the cup with vapour.
- Lift the cup off the base and sip, or pass it around. Set it back on the base to fill it again.
The front is a touchpad, not a push button, so a light tap is all it needs.
Pros and Cons
Pros
- No water to fill or spill
- More compact than the bubbler version
- Works with wax and 510 carts
- Hands-free auto-fill
- Detachable cup for sharing
- Easier to clean than the bubbler cup
Cons
- No water filtration, so hits are warmer
- Glass cup needs careful handling
- Some very tall carts may not seal properly
Temperature Settings
The Dry Cup Edition uses the same four voltage settings:
- 2.5V and 3V: Smoother, more flavourful vapour. Great for oil carts.
- 3.5V: A balance of flavour and cloud size.
- 4.2V: The thickest vapour.
Without water to cool the vapour, lower settings feel noticeably smoother. Start low, especially with carts.
Features That Stand Out
The dry cup makes the Sipper truly portable. You get the same auto-fill and detachable cup that make the Sipper fun, without the worry of water spilling in a bag or car. Cleanup is simpler too, since there's no water mixing with residue in the cup.
Cleaning and Maintenance
- Take the unit apart. Remove the airflow valve and separate its two pieces. Take off the atomizer/cartridge cover and the airflow silicone. Remove the atomizer or cartridge, then unscrew the 510 connection.
- Wipe the inside of the dry cup with an alcohol wipe until the residue is gone, or soak it in 91% isopropyl alcohol or glass cleaner. If you have a cup with a printed design, use mild detergent on the outside instead of soaking it.
- Clean the silicone parts and 510 connection with an alcohol wipe or a cotton swab dipped in 91% alcohol, including underneath the 510 connection.
- Spot clean the base with a cloth and mild detergent. Never submerge the base.
- Let everything dry completely before reassembly.
Flavor and Cloud Performance
Without water, vapour reaches you with more of its original flavour and a bit more density than in the bubbler version. The triple quartz atomizer keeps the taste clean. Hits are warmer than water-filtered ones, so slow sips work best on the higher settings.

Sipper Dry Cup Edition vs Pulsar Sipper
Both share the same base, atomizer and settings. The Dry Cup Edition has a shorter glass cup with no water, so it's more compact, spill-proof and easier to clean. The Pulsar Sipper comes with a taller glass bubbler cup for water-filtered hits. Choose the Dry Cup for travel and convenience, or the original Sipper for the smoothest hits.
Where This Fits in Your Setup
The Dry Cup Edition is great for taking your sessions on the road or to a friend's place. It's also a good choice if you prefer the flavour of dry vapour, or just don't want to deal with water.
Warranty
The Pulsar Sipper Dry Cup Edition comes with a 1-year warranty from Pulsar. Atomizers and glass aren't covered. Since we're an authorized dealer, we can help with any warranty questions.
FAQs
Can I use water with the Sipper Dry Cup Edition?
No. Water filtration only works with the bubbler cup. If you want water-cooled hits, choose the original Pulsar Sipper.
What's the difference between the Sipper and the Sipper Dry Cup Edition?
They share the same base and atomizer. The original Sipper has a taller bubbler cup for water filtration, while the Dry Cup Edition has a shorter, spill-proof dry cup.
Can I use 510 carts with the Sipper Dry Cup Edition?
Yes. It works with most 0.5g to 1g 510 cartridges.
What do the red flashing lights mean?
Three red flashes mean a dead coil or no connection. Reinstall the atomizer or cart, or clean the 510 threading with isopropyl alcohol. Eight red flashes mean the battery is low.
