Build Quality and Materials

The Shift is small but solid, with a rounded body that sits comfortably in your hand. The mouthpiece pops off with a push of your thumb for easy loading and cleaning, and the silicone screen inside keeps herb out of your mouth. The buttons are easy to find without looking, and the screen is clear and simple.

How does it work?

1. Charge the Shift fully with the included Micro-USB cable.
2. Push the top lip of the mouthpiece away from the unit to open the chamber.
3. Fill the chamber about halfway with ground herb. Load it loosely, without packing or tamping it down.
4. Put the mouthpiece back on.
5. Turn the Shift on with the power button.
6. Set your temperature with the plus and minus buttons.
7. Once it reaches temperature, take slow, steady draws.

To switch the display to Celsius, hold the power button and the minus button together for 2 seconds.

Temperature Settings

The Shift runs from 320°F to 430°F. Pulsar recommends:

• 380°F: A balance of flavour and potency. A great place to start.
• 420°F: Larger, heavier clouds.

Go below 380°F if you want the smoothest, most flavourful hits.

Cleaning and Maintenance

1. Turn the Shift off and let it cool.
2. Push the top lip of the mouthpiece away to open the chamber.
3. Remove used herb with the stir tool, then brush out any remaining debris with the cleaning brush.
4. To replace the mouthpiece screen, remove the mouthpiece and pull the silicone screen ring off using its tab. Press a new screen ring firmly into place.

A quick brush after every session keeps the chamber clean and the flavour fresh.
