Build Quality and Materials

The body is lightweight plastic with metal in key spots, which keeps the rig easy to carry. The bubbler is borosilicate glass, which handles heat well and lets you watch the water bubble as you hit it. The glass is the most fragile part, so handle it with care and keep the rig on a stable surface. At about 9 inches tall, it's compact enough to fit in a backpack.

How does it work?

1. Charge the Dinosaur fully with a USB-C cable before your first use.
2. Lift off the glass bubbler to reach the quartz coil and the hidden dab tool.
3. Use the dab tool to place a small amount of concentrate in the bottom centre of the quartz dish.
4. Fill the bubbler with water to just above the air holes, then set it back on the base. The magnets hold it in place.
5. Press the button five times quickly to turn it on. The light flashes white three times, then the 8-second preheat starts. Press once to stop the preheat early.
6. Double-click to cycle through the voltages: green for 3.5V, blue for 3.7V and white for 3.9V.
7. Hold the button and inhale. Each press heats for up to 10 seconds, and you can repeat as needed.
8. Press five times to turn it off. If you forget, it shuts off on its own after 60 minutes.

Empty the bubbler when you're done for the day. Leaving water in it can lead to leaks.

Temperature Settings

The Dinosaur uses three voltage presets:

3. For a deep clean, remove the coil and bubbler and soak them in isopropyl alcohol for about 30 minutes. Brush gently, rinse with warm water and let them dry completely.
4. Wipe the plastic base with a damp cloth. Don't soak plastic parts in alcohol, since it can damage them.
5. Don't press hard on the quartz coil while cleaning.
