About the G Pen Micro 2
The Micro 2 is the follow-up to the popular G Pen Micro+, and it’s a big step up. The battery is much larger, the heat settings are now actual temperatures instead of voltages, and there’s a digital display so you always know where you’re at.
The biggest change is the all-ceramic chamber. Ceramic heats your concentrate evenly and doesn’t add any taste of its own, so you get clean, true-to-strain flavour from start to finish. It heats up in about 5 seconds, so there’s barely any wait between loading and hitting.
You also get more control than most dab pens. Pick from three heat settings, adjust the airflow for a tighter or looser draw, and choose between automatic Session Mode or holding the button yourself. When you’re at home and want smoother hits, add the Sidecar for water filtration or use the 14mm Rig Adapter with your own glass.
If you want a small, reliable G Pen dab pen that’s easy for beginners but still has the features experienced users want, the Micro 2 is a great pick.

Everything Else You Need to Know About the G Pen Micro 2
Build Quality and Materials
The Micro 2 has an anodized aluminum body that feels solid and premium but stays light. It’s slim enough to slip into a pocket or bag and tough enough to handle being carried around every day.
Inside, the all-ceramic chamber is the star. Since there’s no exposed metal coil touching your concentrate, flavour stays clean and consistent session after session.
How does it work?
Here’s how to use the G Pen Micro 2:
- Charge it first: Plug in a USB-C cable and fully charge it before your first use.
- Turn on/off: Press the button 5 times quickly.
- Load it: Remove the mouthpiece, add a small amount of concentrate to the ceramic chamber with a dab tool, then put the mouthpiece back on.
- Pick your heat: Press the button 3 times to cycle through Low, Medium and High.
- Session Mode: Double-click the button. It heats automatically for 20 seconds, and you’ll feel a vibration when it’s ready. Double-click again to cancel.
- Manual Heating: Press and hold the button for up to 25 seconds while you inhale.
- Adjust airflow: Open it up for bigger, cooler hits or close it down for tighter, more flavourful draws.
Loading tip: Start with a small dab. Overloading can flood the chamber and lead to leaks or harsh hits.
Cleaning:
- Turn it off and let the chamber cool completely.
- Remove the mouthpiece.
- Gently swab the ceramic chamber with a cotton swab and a little isopropyl alcohol.
- Wipe the mouthpiece separately.
- Let everything dry completely before putting it back together. Never soak the battery.

Temperature Settings
The Micro 2 has three preset heat settings, changed with 3 quick clicks.
- Low, ~295°F (146°C): Best for flavour and terpenes. Great for live resin and rosin.
- Medium, ~340°F (171°C): A balance of flavour and vapour for everyday dabs.
- High, ~395°F (202°C): Thicker, heavier clouds, but some flavour is lost.
Start on Low, especially with a new concentrate, and step up if you want more vapour.
Warranty
The G Pen Micro 2 comes with a 1-year warranty covering the battery against manufacturing defects. The ceramic tank and mouthpiece are wear parts, so they aren’t covered. If something goes wrong with the battery in that time, send us a short video showing the issue. Once it’s confirmed defective, a replacement gets shipped out and there’s no need to send the original back.
FAQs
What’s the difference between the G Pen Micro 2 and the Micro+?
The Micro 2 has a much bigger battery (1,250mAh vs 850mAh), an all-ceramic chamber, real temperature settings, a digital display and haptic feedback. It also works with the Sidecar bubbler and 14mm Rig Adapter. The Micro+ is smaller and simpler, and it can also use 510 carts, which the Micro 2 can’t.
Can I use the G Pen Micro 2 with a water pipe?
Yes. Add the Micro II Sidecar for portable water filtration, or use the 14mm Rig Adapter to connect it to your own glass. Both are sold separately.
Does the G Pen Micro 2 work with 510 carts?
No. The Micro 2 is made for wax and concentrates only. If you want to vape carts too, the Micro+ supports 510 cartridges.
How long does the battery last?
The 1,250mAh battery is good for up to 120 sessions per charge. Most people can go several days between charges, depending on how often they dab and which heat setting they use.
Does it come with a charging cable?
No, but it uses a standard USB-C cable, so any modern phone cable will work.
What’s the difference between Session Mode and Manual Heating?
Session Mode heats automatically for 20 seconds after a double-click, so you don’t have to hold anything. Manual Heating lets you hold the button for up to 25 seconds and control exactly when it heats.
